This entry is only based on the discographies published by Walter Bruyninckx and also mentioned by Gerard Hoogeveen in his Bob Gordon Discography “Meet Mr. Gordon”. Indeed, there is a baritone sax who sounds like Bob Gordon but he does not take any solo. His presence is only a hypothesis and not a certitude and this baritone could as well be for example Ronnie Lang whose sound was similar. There is also a tenor sax who sounds like Ted Nash, but same uncertainty. However, Dick Nash is clearly mentioned on the label of side A and takes a solo. “The Glee Club” are probably some members of the orchestra. |
